Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew of any credit/token based IT support, for example you top up a wallet with credits and use them whenever you require support, Let me know!

For the record...such comments as made by the last two members...are NOT to be made via posting to any topic.

Both respondents are well aware of the procedures for asserting any suspicions about such...via the REPORT button...and commenting on such within a posted topic...whether it is a legitimate topic or not...serves no useful purpose.

Sorry for the misconception guys, I am not a scammer nor am I looking for remote access to any machine, this topic is for research purposes only and is just a way of me getting some base information about the way they work and if there are any example sites, I am new to the IT world at only 18 years old and am currently working for an IT Support company which has me testing out all sort of roles such as graphic design, web design and real support, again, Sorry for any confusion :)

My apologies !

Good luck with your research

Edit to add : I am not aware of any credit/token based IT support,,,,and I would be extremely wary if I did come across one.

The chances of me using it would be zero. There is more than enough quality free help available.

There is and they are normally called service level Agreements or SLA's.

You negotiate a price and allocate a bank of time and ask for pre-purchase.

You then enter a contract with your contact so when they need support you can support them and then note the time it took and that comes out the banked time.

When you as a customer have ran out of banked time you then can ask the SLA person to create a new bank of say 20 hours.

A lot of companies do this because you pre-pay, negotiate a price and you can also request a minimum response time mate.

Hi again guys, not sure if I was very clear but I want to take a look at some sites which feature a wallet with credits/tokens which can be purchased and used to top up the wallet and purchase - I am coming up with a concept for a site which offers something different in IT support as part of a research project from my assessors.
