Audio Driver Problem

I have a HP 305w 256mb ram 2.7 g processor , I have recently formated from the factory settings , installed windows xp 2sp and lost the audio driver in the process. I think I need a intergrated AC 97 driver, the computer doesnt have a PCI sound card , it is intergrated to the motherboard . I need help because i dont know what in the blue world I am doing I will answer any question you have if it will help you help me fix this @&#%&#@%#&^@ COMPUTER........ any help will be greatlly appreciated.

^ do you have Intel Mother Board ?
most probably it could be Realtek AC'97 Audio .
