So my laptop default mic won't work anymore and not my headsets don't seem to work when I plug them in. I contacted MS support once, they told me to update drivers, so I did and nothing happened.

If I plug the headsets in and tap the mic area hardish, the green bar goes up and goes away after a second. So I assume it picks up little sound, though it won't get my voice.

I attached a file with info on my laptop and here is audio info on a pic: http://prntscr.com/ishlx9

I would delete the installed audio drivers, using Device Manager...then reboot and allow the drivers to reinstall automatically.
