Some streaming sites liked fmovies.is have some inappropriate ads. I cant figure out how to block them from showing up. They are not pop up ads so you cant install anything to prevent it. Anything can be done?

That site also support malicious webpages. (as advised by Malwarebytes.

If you are running Windows, I would be concerned.

I use the  Malwarebytes add on in my FireFox browser. It pops up a warning re malicious web sites etc etc.

The websites can be added to a 'visit anyway' list so that the pop up from malwarebytes does not occur. However the add from the site fmovies etc will still show up ....the site has movies to watch for free.....they have to make money somehow.....the 'inappropriate ads' is how they make their money. There is no such thing as a free lunch. There is always a cost.

However be warned......whether you click on anything on those pages or not......you may well become Infected. The "maliciousness" of the sites/adds, may just not be prompting you to buy somehting etc etc.....they may be set up to steal info....your info. Judging by the incredibly bad english spelling and grammar throughout the site.....I would avoid the site at all costs.

As far as I am aware, Chrome doesnt have that add on/extension

IE ......forget it. Not a chance.

Be aware, that by adding some malicious site to a list so that it is allowed.....does not make it safe.

Use AdBlocker Plus, it's perfect as an addon to prevent these.
