Hello,

My system is too slow at the start up. Some times it takes close to 3 min to get normal. I checked in task manager --> Start up and all are in Disabled status. At the start up only applications that run are Skype and Kaspersky.

Am i infected? Please help me in fixing this issue.

Thanks,

Nallamilli Raman.

Hi,
You can removed all the updates from uTorent and keep just the lates.

[PUP.uTorrentAds][File] C:\Users\Nallamilli Raman\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\updates\3.5.3_44358\utorrentie.exe -> Found

---

Start your Computer in Safe Mode with Networking and test if the problem persists.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode
---

If the start time is normal continue.

Try this. Follow the instructions on each step.

Locate the CMD.EXE and run it as an Administrator.

This will stop the Windows updates.
At the DOS prompt execute this net stop wuauserv press the Enter key.
At the DOS prompt type Exit and the Enter key to get back to the operating systesm
This will stop the Windows updates.

If the problem is solved let me know.
Wait for further instructions.

We can restore the Windows Updates later when all is well.
:step3: Restart the Windows Update service net start wuauserv

Hi,

Do this.

Open FRST on the compromised computer:

copy/paste the following inside the text area of FRST. Once done, click on the Fix button. A file called fixlog.txt should appear on your desktop. Attach it in your next reply.

Start::
cmd: ipconfig /flushdns
cmd: IPCONFIG /release
cmd: IPCONFIG /renew
CMD: netsh winsock reset catalog
End::

https://forums.malwarebytes.com/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o239/kevinf80/Farbar%20Tools/frst%20b.jpg&key=98f8e4fa906452a8ed54423fd0407a3d120fe6064437244ca29c06ed5f968755

Restart the computer normally.

Post the fixlog.txt and wait for further instructions.
<<<>>>

Test the computer for a few hours or a day and let me know if the problem persists.
