I couldn't save the other Temp files but copied the manifest of the crash report.

Type cmd into run, click ok

type in chkdsk, press enter

When it has finished, does it show?: Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems.

No further action is required.

Yes it might be a hardware issue.

It said this

"Warning ! F parameter not specified, Running CHKDSK in read-only mode.

Recovering orphaned file SECURE 1.TMP (with tildie in the title before 1) and Secure Preferences Rf17514C.TMP

Then it said "Correcting errors in the master file table's (MFT) BITMAP attribute."

"Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap"

"Windows Found problems with the file system.

RUn CHKDSK with the /F (fix) option to correct these.

So what do I do now ?

ok. now you just need to wait and see if the computer is ok during the next several days. chkdsk /f might have solved the problem.

Nothing for two hours since rebooting ?

Also I ran regular Chkdsk again and it did say it found some problems again, not sure what though. I marked which orphaned files it was restoring:

mozill (tilde) 1 (31914 into directory file 10333
mozilla-temp-files (31914) into ditto
tm.edb (51586) into dir. file 9075
asWar.run (51945) into dir. file 88704

(tilde) = a tilde, I just always forget how to make it on my European keyboard.

How old is the hard drive??  May be time for a new one, spinners are spit cheap now.  An SSD would blow you away performance wise.

I didn't get anything after Hard Drive.

A few years, though not exactly in a position to change it, especially since it's a laptop.
