I recently had a good read thru the tutorial about Host Files.
Am I the only one that didn't have "Lock Host File" checked in ZoneAlarm (free) until I read this? Sounds to me like it's fairly important to prevent changes to be made in any way we can.
FYI,open ZA,go to the Firewall page/Main/Advanced Button/Advanced Settings/check Lock Host File.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
