I've done ok at keeping the PC running since 2004, having learned a lot about the wide ranging topic right here. This time it's Facebook, so I was wondering if some knowledgeable person might entertain the notion of listening to my 'symptoms',  The app loads, but only 2 posts appear in either timeline or news feed. Normal operations like "notifications" hang. No results for searching friends, I'd think maybe bandwidth issues, but other apps work, like youtube. My isp states I'm getting 2 mb dl speed, of the 10 I pay for, and they are sending a replacement modem. These issues have been problems since Mar 2nd. I also have no idea of what a ban on facebook consists of, having received no word about it., so I was thinking "perhaps" that's it. A good application for identifying download/upload speeds would be helpful, too, I guess. After all these years I really didn't know I could not contact the Facebook admins in any direct way.

Welcome to BC !

If it is Facebook itself you are having problems with I suggest that you are better looking at Facebook forums or possibly their help. If your problem is that you cannot connect to Facebook then you need to post your problem either in the appropriate OS section or 'Web browsing, etc.'
