I can't get into my laptop at all because the Sophos Safeguard has locked it. I am using an old company laptop and I have done for two years. It is an HP 8760 with Windows 7. The safeguard log-in came up as usual but it said my password had failed and now it is locked after three attempts. As this is a laptop I have from a former employer and they used Sophos Safeguard log-in protection, I do not have any admin/help-desk support from this company now.  I am in a real bind as I have everything on this laptop.

Now I am locked out (workstation is locked) and I can't get passed the log-on screen, is there any way I can bypass the Safeguard log-in screen and get to my desktop?

I hope this is the correct forum topic for this question but if not I would be grateful if someone could help as this is the firs time I have used this forum.
