Repost due to mod deletion, reposted as swiftly as I could to minimise time wasting on my end.

After my recent hair rising expeience with Utorrent deciding to bundle it's upgrade with a browser hijacker that literally refused to stop changing default search to yahoo until I did some registry Ctrl F-fu, and learning that other upgrades people got secretly installed Bitcoin miners that shot up the CPU usage like a (badword) (and which the Utorrent people somehow expected the users to be okay with) I'm wondering, are there any torrent programs that don't instal CPU drains, adware or don't hijack your browser for sponsored search engines ?

I've actually been trying to use Qbittorrent.

However, when I got it I didn't give it the firewall exception and now when I was trying to download, after it got the metadata it skipped downloading and immediately switched to uploading. Is that normal ?E

Edit:

Actually got it working now I think.
