COMP & LPT missing

Hi, 

In my laptop, in device manager Port (COMP &LPT ) is missing. I need to see connected comp port number when attached any new device through USB. 

please provide solution for this. 

My laptop specification:  DELL inspiron 15, Windows 7.

Only a few devices create a COM or LPT port these days; many create other kinds of devices instead.

What is the device you are expecting to create a COM or LPT port?
