Hi All,

Thank you for your time.

I have a friend who has just purchased a brand new Lenovo V110-14IAP laptop Running windows 10 home for her daughter to use for school. Not the fastest laptop but it fit within their budget.

However, every now and then she will turn the laptop on and make it through to the Windows Login Background but there is no Login or Password window present, no buttons just the mouse which will move around.

So, a couple of times before last I have hard powered off and back on and it will come right, this last time I hard powered off and it proceeded to do a windows update then let me in. Below is a youtube link to the problem we are receiving.

How can i diagnose this? I've checked the windows system log, but it seems the errors shown are the standard stuff?

Please any help would be greatly!!! appreciated.

Thank you.

Sorry for the late response. If you're short on time (which I would suppose if this is a school laptop!), I'd just return it to the store since it's new. Better than trying to figure out something which may be unsolvable! Otherwise, post in the Windows 10 forum to see if anyone else has ideas.

If I do not reply in two days, please message me.
