Just recently started setting up share folders with samba.

I have installed samba, system-config-samba and also caja share.

I like samba config because it displays all shared folders in system

I like caja share for quick sharing when using file manager.

Problem is these 2 programs don't seem to work well together:

  • When I add a share with Caja it does not show up in config.
  • When I add a share in config, I do not get that shared symbol on the folder icon in caja.

Is there a fix for this or I just have to use one or the other but not both?
