I've had Windows 7 installed for many years but lately something odd has started happening...

If I make a new folder, about 1 second later the folder jumps into alphabetical position and is renamed to "New Folder" even if I had already started typing a new name.

I just wanted to quickly ask if anyone thinks it could possibly be a symptom of malware?

I don't think I've installed any new software lately that could be causing this, and everything else seems fine.
