Hey guys, I can't seem to come up with the ethernet and network drivers for this machine on the page here:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/NP-RV520-A02UK

The Device ID is PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_C597144D&REV_06

Help please?

I thought I posted this already.

For the PCI/VEN 10EC

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

The PCI Simple Communications Controller is the modem

For the SMBus you need the chipset driver. Provide the Vendor and Device IDs

For the Wifi chipset

I don't know what the Network Controller is. Provide the Vendor and Device IDs

The Wimax installed but doesn't work so only the Network controller and SM Buss is yellowed in the DM:

Network controller

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0885&SUBSYS_13058086&REV_67

SM BUS

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C22&SUBSYS_C597144D&REV_04

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0885&SUBSYS_13058086&REV_67 is a Wifi chipset. There isn't a USB wifi adapter on the computer, correct? You should be able to uninstall or disable it. I don't know why you would show two Wifi devices.

For the SMBus driver use this driver. If it does not work then download the Intel utility and let it search for the correct driver.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Edit: Create a restore point before installing the drivers.

Those 2 centrino devices showing were there on it's own, was not installed by me.

The SMbus driver work, thanks. Still can;t figure out the networking issue. I uninstalled the Wimax, still need a wireless driver. Also the wired connection is not working now. There is a yellow mark on the pc icon in the tray.

The link in post#2 is for the LAN driver. That did not work? Check out the Samsung site for your drivers. There are a ton so you will need to pick the correct ones. The Wifi driver I posted did not work either?

Did you try the Intel detection utility?

Click the Driver box in the left pane. It will show a few but you need to select See More to get the rest.

Oh I had thought the Intel Utility was relating only to the SMBus driver, running it now. Which wifi driver did you post? Only seeing the wifi chipset?
