I came into the computing world on Commodore 64 and then an IBM AT but I don't really count those years because my real intro into computing was when my friend from school who was a sysadmin for my local ISP gave me a shell account on a BSDi system.
I went from that to OpenBSD. I then found out that I could have a desktop if I installed a new kind of system called FreeBSD.
I am still fond of the BSD family but I then found about a system called Linux and my life changed forever.
Hi. I am a pretend BOfH. I used to read on the BB every week a new post about bofh and what he would do to his unfortunate users. However, I just can't seem to bring that kind of douche-bag up to his level.
How time flies.
I am a primary debian user (my personal platform, what I am using to post to you now). I work in a corporate environment on a large enterprise network by...dun dun dun duuuuunnnnn....logging in to my jump server from a windows 10 company laptop. Company required but honestly I don't harbor ill-will to Window systems. I think they are just fine and provide a purpose.
Anyway. Hi. I hope to contribute as best as I can.
