Hello all,

My mom's old desktop "crashed" recently and she called me to help her fix it. Windows recovery says it cant automatically fix the problem and spat out this info.

Problem Event name:   StartupRepairOffline
Problem Signature 01:  6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 02:  6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 03:  unknown
Problem Signature 04:  21199423
Problem Signature 05:  AutoFailover
Problem Signature 06:  4
Problem Signature 07:  NoRootCause
OS Version:                      6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID:                         1033

This is beyond my knowledge base and I was recommended posting here by a friend. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks!

EDIT: cannot boot in safe mode, everything I've tried loops me back to the auto repair tool and then reboots the computer.

From what I see...these errors can be the result of many different situations.

Topic moved from Win 7 forum to Crashes/BSODs forum.
