Trying to get my camera working again on a Toshiba Satellite C55D-C

I've been having a problem with the cam in my Toshiba Satellite C55D-C, with Windows 10. Whenever I click on the camera app, I keep getting an error message saying "We can't find your camera". The error message is this:

Your camera is most likely not supported by Windows 10. See this Microsoft thread. The last post on page 2 for a possible solution.
