So after numerous attempts to boot, including reinstalling windows 10, I ran check disk and got this. I did manage to get it to boot sometimes and even go to play my steam games on it but eventually it always stops being able to boot past automatic repair menu and the system can't restore at all no matter what I try. It was just a gaming computer so I had nothing important on it. Doesn't matter if I lose everything
Computer is a lenovo z50-75 if you need to know and I've only had it since August

Download Seatools for Windows. Do the short test. If it passes do the long test.

If the drive is WD then use their software.

Edit: If both the short and long test pass download memtest+ and run it for at least 6 passes

Download the free edition. You will need to burn the iso to a CD or use Rufus with the iso to create a bootable USB.

If you cannot boot the computer then download UBCD. Burn the iso to a DVD or use Rufus to create a bootable USB flash drive. Link in previous post for Rufus. In order for UBCD to boot you will need to disable SecureBoot and enable Legacy or CSM boot in your UEFI settings. It would be a good idea to disable Fast or QuickBoot if that is also in your UEFI settings.

Boot UBCD and at the menu select Parted Magic. On the desktop select Disk Health. Run the short and long tests. Disk Health is actually Gsmartcontrol.

If both long and short tests pass then boot UBCD and in the Memory section select Memtest86+. You may need to scroll through the first page of memory programs to get to Memtest+
