My computer has been crashing a lot over the past two months. I am usually in the middle of something when out of nowhere my main monitor, hooked into my GPU, goes completely black, losing video signal and audio from my open program begins to stutter/loop. I also would get the window notification should of some hardware being disconnected like when you remove a flash drive. Often it would be followed by windows on my second monitor, hooked into my MOBO, going black and essentially crashing or this monitor losing signal as well. Yet after the initial impact, I can still talk to people in discord voice chat, if I had it open (so I'm pretty sure programs are still running). Sometimes, however, I would get a blue screen on my second monitor with the reading "DPC Watchdog Violation" followed by a restart. It seems to mainly happen when I am playing games like Overwatch, OSU!, or Hearts of Iron 4 (though with this game my screen would often just go black and instantly restart my computer so this may be a different issue). however, it would also happen while my computer was just sitting on the desktop, or even literally as it was starting up.
I tried everything I could find to fix this; I updated all my drivers were up to date, reinstalled my GPU drivers from NVIDIA website, Looked for crash reports in event viewer (to no avail), made sure my IDE ATA ATAPI controllers were correct, Ran drive scans and repairs through CMD, anything I could find. I even watched my Temps with HWinfo to see if maybe something was overheating. The only things that seemed to help were opening up my PC, removing my GPU, blowing the dust out (if there was any in there) and remounting (which would only mitigate the problem for short periods of time AKA for 5 days, at best, going without a crash) and clean installing windows 10, which I did probably three weeks ago and have only experienced 2-3 crashes all with Blue screens, but iIsuspect there were more because I came home a couple of times after leaving my computer on to find all my programs were closed (probably restarted).
I am at the point where I think it's honestly a hardware issue, but I thought I would come here to see if maybe I had missed something with the software (bc resetting windows 10 helped a little, at least). Otherwise, how do I go about finding the part that I need to replace?
