How to uninstall a program

I have the following program on my laptop and seem unable to uninstall it.I go into control panel and select uninstall program but when I click on uninstall I get this message.
File c:\program files\safePCKit\unins000.dat does not exist cannot uninstall   Can anyone suggest a way to remove this program.
The program is called  safePCKit
Why am I unable to paste into the message box.
