Issue: When I change "optimize this folder for" and choose something OTHER than "general items", on ANY folder, as soon as I go back to "customize this folder" it will have reverted back to "general items".

I have played around with all sorts of Bags\BagMRU reg settings and nothing helped (tried restarting explorer and even computer in between each try).

Even tried to make ALL folder one setting say, "pictures":

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\AllFolders\Shell

FolderType: Pictures

[same in Wow6432Node]

Didn't help.

Also tried to change 5,000 to 10,000 and 20,000 - didn't help.

Any ideas how to proceed in fixing this?
