I can't get the NVIDIA Control Panel to open. Go to Control Panel, I click on NVIDIA through and the cursor will spin for a few seconds, and you can see the process start and run for a few seconds in the Task Manager, then it stops. Will not open up. Tried restatring, but no help. The system shows as up-to-date.

Any ideas?

It sounds possible the driver is corrupted or not installed properly.  You could download the latest version for your hardware from https://www.geforce.com/drivers and install them manually.

If you are using the wrong graphics driver or it is out of date or corrupted, NVIDIA Control Panel missing or won't open. So, you can try to reinstall your NVIDIA display drivers.
Go to the NVIDIA Download Drivers page to download the driver. Select the correct Product Type, Product Series, Produce Model and Operating System..

hope something helps you
