Hello all,

I recently transfered schools, and my new school's internet blocks Ventrilo from connecting. FYI Ventrilo is a voice chat program like TeamSpeak. Either they have a firewall blocking it or maybe they block the ports. Anyhow, does anyone know of a way to get around this? Would a proxy work? They also block LimeWire and BitTorrent, but I can live without those  . Thanks in advance!

Schools and most business have established a computer use policy and implement it by whatever means.
Any attempt to circumvent such policy exposes these computer systems to a host of malware - viruses, trojan, spyware, dialer, etc.
It is most likely a violation of your schools terms of use for their system also.
