I am trying to download Shockplayer so my kids can play games on webkinz. The webkinz directs me to the abode site to download shockplayer. I hit the download button and a couple of second later I get the installation complete banner. I did get the gold activex banner.

Of course despite the installation complete banner, i have no shockplayer installed.

Can somebody help me install this program ? I did re boot after the first "install"

Thanks

I think you meant Flash Player 9. Below is a link to some trouble shooting info for flash player.
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase...511#install_win

Also, make sure you have the latest Java installed. 5.0 update 9 for end users (4th download on the list)
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

After updating Java, go to Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.

If you have an older version of flash installed, you should remove it using the Add/Remove program.
Several users have had problems with installing flash. If you still have a problem after following the trouble shooter info mentioned above, let us know. Good Luck to you. By the way, I checked that site using Firefox Browser and it looks like it would be a lot of fun for kids. Well done.

To uninstall flash player 8 or 9 you will need this uninstaller:http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157

It works fine on the webkinz. Now the kids get play on my computer, lucky me

Thanks again
