I'm not sure where else to post this question, so here goes.

Many years ago I had a habit of saving some of my favourite webpages as internet shortcut files (as opposed to saving them as favourites in my browser or as offline html files), and now I have a folder full of hundreds of them.

Is there a quick way to find out which ones still point to active webpages without clicking on every one individually?

Have you tried Website Watcher? It sorta replaced a free program called AM-Deadlink which is no longer being developed.
