Recently, (Christmas) I installed a new SSD in my computer. Everything was installed from an image created in October.

So occasionally, when the laptop is plugged in the battery indicator will drop from 100% to 0% over a 2 to 3 hour period. When it gets to 0%, it will stay there for a few minutes and then jump to 100%.

The last time it did this (yesterday), I unplugged the laptop when it was at 1% left it unplugged. It dropped to 0% and then a few minutes later it jumped to 92%. I plugged it back in and the battery charged back up.

Weird, any ideas?

Try running some Diagnostics from the Manufacture of the Laptop to test the Battery ?

How Long does it last just on the Battery alone ? { 2-3 Hrs is Ok }

Ive never seen this problem before , do you have the Power Settings to say Notify at 10-20% of remaining Power ?
