I have tried to install an old game of football manager 2005 that i found. I installed from the cd and it seemed to install but the game won't load. It used to work on this laptop but that might have been before i upgraded to windows 10. Any ideas?

Seems Windows 10 does not support the DRM systems used on these older games.

Not necessarily. The DRMs are quite difficult to surpass since they were there to prevent copying and piracy. You can try starting the game in compatibility mode but I'm not sure if that will work. The only way around it may be to install a No CD crack for it to bypass the games .exe but I do not recommend that at all. You'll likely just end up with a virus on the hopes that it may fix the issue.

I would suggest just finding another game to play, maybe a newer version.
