Recently I find myself in need of having to change my current cell phone, because it is presenting hardware damage. For this reason, I have decided to buy a new smartphone in Personal, which does not present any problem in compatibilities, but has the ease of repair, to find your ROMs, etc.

The options that have caught my attention and meet my budget are the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and the Samsung Galaxy A7.

Do you think they are good buying options or do they have problems with the performance of the battery and to flash the memory?

The J7 Prime and A7 just can't match the processing power of say, the S8. It's not far off but it would be quite noticeable.

If you're between the J7 and A7, my choice would be the A7 all day. The A7 has a slightly faster processor, 3GB of RAM as apposed to the 2GB, fingerprint scanner, fast charging, active noise cancellation, 1080 x 1920 display, and has Gorilla Glass 4.

Its no contest in my opinion.

In term of processor Samsung J7 has better processor than A7.

  • J7 Processor - 1.5 GHz octa-core
  • A7 Processor - 1 GHz octa core

Battery performance of A7 is also good.

  • J7 Battery Capacity - 3000 mAh
  • A7 Batter Capacity - 2600 mAh

but RAM of A7 is Greater than J7

  • J7 RAM - 1.5GB
  • A7 RAM - 2GB
