eton frx1 served me well  for almost 2 years, i was cranking it and wobbled a bit to much.
heard a crunch and handle came off, i can still charge with usb thingy
mine is not the model with the solar panel. would like another just like it but they cost about double now. i paid 15 bucks for it new.

will try to glue it back on but would like some input on  what you guys think about these

i really just want something to listen to am radio

cheapest that i will buy, https://www.amazon.com/iRonsnow-Emergency-Powered-Weather-Flashlight/dp/B00WIF2T7C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516579571&sr=8-1&keywords=dynamo+radio

maybe, no plug to charge i think, https://www.amazon.com/Kaito-SB-1059-Crank-Weather-Radio/dp/B002WQ7B9S/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1516580587&sr=1-5&keywords=crank+radio

seems too good to be true, rating really high and full of feature i dont care about, but it looks small https://www.amazon.com/Weather-Emergency-Multiple-Reception-Everywhere/dp/B06Y3R2GYV/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

many models on amazon look the same, they just have different names
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_72_0?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A172282%2Cn%3A172623%2Cn%3A172681%2Ck%3Acrank+radio%2Cp_72%3A1248879011&sort=price-asc-rank&keywords=crank+radio&ie=UTF8&qid=1516580587&rnid=1248877011

last choice, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MU9O6RT/ref=sxbs_p13n_srt_2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3480930722&pd_rd_wg=FVfgf&pf_rd_r=5Y5KXK9PCJ8KM5VPC237&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-bottom-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B01MU9O6RT&pd_rd_w=qIIQS&pf_rd_i=crank+radio&pd_rd_r=441d8f9d-d409-4c9d-ab27-c98c6ec8d703&ie=UTF8&qid=1516582668&sr=2

i just got that radio

cranking seems to produce very little power

i just read the description better, and it says that

the 500mha battery is meant to charge the phone, not intended for daily use

speaker sound does not have much tone to it. flash light on it is really bright, but that wasnt why i bought this

i just want a little radio that does not require regular batteries!!!

will give it a week, if i still have issues with its rechargeable battery i shall return it.
