First off, I apologize if this is the wrong sub forum. A friend gave me her kids Epic mini laptop because the screen cracked and she couldn't find a replacement...and now, neither can I! I googled every number on the back of the screen itself, ...sat101au30d24y0 28143m058zn, 1609211111 (0000000), SZ 00724, and nothing comes up. The screen is a 10.1", the entire back is shiny metal, and the ribbon cable is directly in the middle of it at the bottom. There isn't even a model number on the laptop! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

how about number on the circuit board on the screen?   should be like b01xxxxxxxx  in white silkscreen lettering.

take a picture of the back of the screen and make sure it's clear so I can read all numbers.  The circuit board on the screen itself is the key here.

as long as you find the same size screen with the exact circuit board then you'll be golden.

Screen is all metal on back. Ribbon cable leads out  to an external board, but googling numbers on the board reveals no hint of which screen might be compatible.

A slightly different approach. Google for replacement screen suppliers and see if any of their web-sites include a telephone number and give them a ring and try talking to a real live person ?  whhile there are some idiots out there, there are also some incredibly well informed people.

They probably are supplied only to a manufacturer in bulk, no idea whether a single unit could be obtained.

This may be an equivalent:

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Brand-New-10-1Inch-BOE-TFT_60529095769.html

but if it is, minimum quantity is 500.

They do say "Sample is available for your evaluation"...  :)
