About two weeks ago, I unwrapped a Lenovo Ideapad 100S-11IBY [Intel ATOM Z3735F 1.33GHZ CPU] which I had purchased [from Tiger Direct in late 2016] as a gift. When I tried to update Windows 10 Home [32 bit], the update to version 1507 failed. I then learned that I was unable to perform a recovery. I downloaded software from the Lenovo.com site and allowed it to run for 5-6 hr, then it installed software for a while; still, I was unable to update Windows 10 Home. I tried several registry cleaners; used Tweaking Windows, still no luck. I know this off topic, but any advice would be welcome.

I'm not even going to ask why you would purchase a Windows 10 32-bit version over a 64-bit version.

You can migrate a 32-bit version to a 64-bit.
