Windows 10 latest updates. I have used disk cleanup to delete the thumbnailcache files in case of corruption many times, but this doesn't help. Thumbnails used to work, but up until about several weeks ago they just stopped. Now after a day or so, or a computer restart, I am forced to rebuild the thumbnails in a folder. I'm pretty sure thumbnails are enabled as I can see the little thumbnail pictures of a folder before clicking it. Certainly I didn't change anything.

EDIT: I found a few sites offering tips I haven't seen before. I did both of them, so we shall see if they work or not. If it's been several days to a week without my thumbnails having to rebuild then they were most likely a success. If I have to rebuild them again I will post here stating they didn't work and request more assistance. The sites:

It's been 3 days and my thumbnails haven't deleted themselves again. What I did in those 2 above links must've done the trick! I'm guessing one of Windows' updates turned on that process to automatically delete the cache.
