We have a relatively new (couple months) Windows 10 HP Computer (AMD processor) that was suddenly unable to boot into the OS. Unable to enter Safe Mode. Automatic Repair failed. System Restore failed.

I also used the command DISM /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions to revert any Windows Update (January 9th was a critical update installation) but I got an error #3, cannot access image. The dism.txt log is here: https://pastebin.com/Qxy845Ej

After trying a bunch of solutions, Self-Repair system referred an srttrail.txt file to me, which I copied to a drive and have posted below. I'm not sure what to glean from it. Can anyone else:

I don't believe this is due to the Meltdown update and AMD processors. See the below video. You can create the Windows 10 boot DVD on another computer using the Media Creation Tool. The purpose of the video is to show how to copy the registry hives from the Regback folder to the config folder. The Regback folder contains backups of the Registry Hives in the config folder which may have been corrupted during the update.

That did it, buddy. Thanks so much. It solved a yellow screen tint problem too. (or maybe I'm just imagining things). May all your endeavors succeed where success is possible.
