Hi

I have had my laptop upgraded in the shop. I've increased the RAM and swopped out the HDD for a SSD.

I still have the HDD, it's been put into a caddy to be used as external storage. All of my data is still on there.

I would like to transfer/export my edge favourites from the HDD to the SDD so that they are there when I open edge.

I would have thought this to be a simple task, but I can't even find them.

Any advice?

Thanks

Ian

Favorites for the Microsoft browsers have been stored in the same way, and at the same location, for a very long time now.

If you look in C:\Users\{account id} you will find a Folder called Favorites in which all your Favorites are stored.

Since yours are now on another drive, which for the sake of illustration I'll say is G: and the account id "jsmith", you'd look in G:\Users\jsmith for the Favorites folder, which is denoted with a gold star, not the standard folder icon.  Open that, select all, copy, navigate to your user account's Favorites folder on the C: drive, paste.
