Computer beeps once when turned on. Normal?

My computer beeps once when turned on. It boots properly, with no error messages, and runs finel. Is the 1 beep normal? Or does it mean  something?

A single beep is universally the "Normal" status indication when a computer boots up and successfully passes the POST (Power On Self Test).
