Hi -

I need some guidance with a Windows 2000 User Account issue.

Which forum would be appropriate to use, please.

Patrick

I would post your problem, one of the fellows will jump in even though there is no actual section.  All the OS's are similar so many issues can be solved with some help.

DOS/PDA/Other, board should fit the "Other" classification.  Moderator who believes differently, please just say so.

I cannot remember which era of Windows among those that are in the Windows section most closely overlaps with Windows 2000, but I would definitely post in one of the Windows forums.

This is not a DOS/PDA/Other issue, it's a Windows issue, but for a version of Windows not specifically listed.  Post in the forum for the Windows that was contemporaneous with Windows 2000 or the most similar to Windows 2000.

Hi Patrick, with success I was able to connect with Microsoft answer desk. The best option for you would be to post in the Windows XP forum as it's platform "might" be the closest to Windows 2000. Since MS no longer supports 2000 or XP OS, they are not able to assist you directly.

Try the Windows XP forums, or possibly Windows 95/98/ME forums. They are the most similar to Windows 2000.
