What products/items are being retailed?  Payroll software, tax software, inventory software, etc.?  There are multiple aspects to running a business, in my experience as an accountant.

Some Ideas.

I guess most likely what you mean is point of sale software. If I’m right, then there are actually a few worthy options you might wish to look into and they are totally free.

I suggest you try Chromis. Though this one is relatively new, the reviews are almost 100% positive. A significant drawback though is that it only runs on Windows.

A great alternative is Imonggo, which by the way has a mobile app, both for iPhone and Android.

Hello

I need software for a small retail store. Any idea? (Free please)

What's the type of your company? And for what certain functions do you need such software? There's such a great amount of it now for business that without knowing more details it's really very hard to recommend you smth :bubbles: I think that you should know firstly which types of software are used for business in general and then define your goals more accurately. They're:

- documentation one for widespreading information about your company (Microsoft package for example)

- communication for fast and effective connection within your work team, and with your partners/clients (e-mail, websites, special mobile apps)
- inventory management for effective organization of all your business processes (Zoho, Xero, Quickbook etc.)
- accounting for controlling your finances (Freshbook for example)

All of them can be bought easily or built by special companies https://idapgroup.com/software-development/ , the second one is necessary if your company has special needs which can't be satisfied with average systems/programs. Also some of them can be used even for free.
