My friend's desktop changed for some reason and she wants her original desktop back. Also the minimize button stop working. I did a restore point but win 10 only allowed me to go back 1 wk which did not help. Is it possible to manually write in a restore point that goes back a month? I did try some things that I found online for getting the desktop back but nothing worked.

The notebook is a HP 15-ay061ar

That's impossible. You can't go back in time to create a Restore Point.

A keyboard shortcut to minimize an active Windows is pressing ALT + Space + n

Remember the second law of thermodynamics? You can't go back in time.
