We are receiving smartphone messages telling us to check with trustedid. There also seems to be a trustid site. Which is legit?

TrustedID Inc., founded in 2004, is an American identity protection company. The company's suite of products include free and paid services that help consumers detect risk of identity theft and control the use of their personal information. The company sells its products through a range of different channels, including major companies and through its website.

About TrustedID

TRUSTID provides an ownership-based authentication token that allows call centers to identify trusted callers before answering. This automatic, highly accurate approach lets call centers quickly identify callers that should enter trusted flows for better, faster service. This reduces operating costs and improves customer satisfaction. Identifying trusted callers so quickly also allows fraud-fighting tools to focus on unidentified calls for improved efficiency.
