For a few weeks this weird graphical error has been happening on my pc and I cant pinpoint where the issue is coming from.

Furmark hasn't yeilded any obvious graphics card errors. I tested my RAM and it came back clean.
I've reinstalled the latest graphics driver from NVIDIA (388.71)

Any thoughts?

I suspect you have a memory problem on the GTX card and you ought to try MemtestG80

i think in your nvidia settings somewhere they have a list of games with compatibility issues and my kids gtx 1050 had like 20 different games with slight issues listed.

you might look and see if your game is listed.
