Posting here to try and help someone

They are experiencing issues where 4 computers out of a total of 12 are continually disconnecting from the internet every few minutes or so.

The setup is:

                                                    Switch-----------> 6 computers

Router----------> Switch ---------->

                                                    Switch-----------> 6 computers

there are 2 computers connected to the 2 different switches that are having this issue.

They have changed ethernet cables and changed the ports they are connected to on the switch and they am still having the same problems.

Could this be a computer software problem?

Have you try switching the switches around?

Could be the switches themselves having some kind of problem or the router.I would take a desktop that having this problem and plug it into the router, test that for a little bit (see if it disconnects). then test it from router > switch 1, then test router > switch2, then router > switch3.
