Im trying to edit a directory in command prompt by using this video:

But the command hes using (/d) doesnt seem to find anything on my computer.

He types in /d then the directory file but I just get this:

'/d' is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

All in windows 10 command prompt of course.

When you press the Windows key + X does the menu show command prompt or powershell? If it shows powershell then at the powershell prompt type cmd to access the command prompt.

If that does not work: The /d lets you change a drive and directory at the same time.  You could input your drive first. Then change the directory to the correct one.

For instance if the command prompt was C:\ and you wanted to change to E:  type E:  <enter> at the prompt. This will get you E:\.  Then use the cd command to change to the directory you wish.
