How do I go about updating the driver, how would I know which one to upgrade.  This only happens on my identical Dell Laptop.

The first BIG question is why do you want to update the driver?  You should really only do that if you are having a specific problem that has been linked to a driver issue.

Second; the only real place to get drivers is on the manufacturer's support page for your model and, since you have said it is a Dell, go to http://support,dell.com and type in your SERVICE TAG number which will take you to the specific page for your PC.  The service tag is usually on the same sticker as the serial number; but, it may be underneath the battery if you don't see it directly on the bottom.

Shut down your pc before you go looking for it, OK?
