Hi all, first post this so bare with me if I am a little ignorant technical wise.

I am using Chrome with W10 and suddenly I can't seem to to save websites from the internet to my desktop as a shortcut; or at least the icons that do appear only open to my homepage. If I try to save a website from my fav list Chrome then it will save to desktop and open as it should. I have tried various file association fixes but to no avail, could you help please?
