Here is a brief summary of what we have:
Basically we are a hotel that uses a cloud based software that tracks incoming and outgoing guests. The system charges the guests credit cards and stores all important financial information and contact information for each customer.
We have had guests reporting that they have received phone calls from what they say is the hotel number. They answer and a male in a foreign accent says they are calling from the hotel and need their security code and address. We have no males or even any foreigners on our team. Everyone with us has been around for a long time. I even reset passwords across all the employees. It turns out our systems may be compromised. It could be a keylogger or virus. So I installed AVG and Malwarebytes on both computers and was able to clean out both systems. However, the problem keeps persisting. Please help us to make sure that our computers are not compromised. These guys are able to access credit card information. We have limited all privileges for employees, but the hackers still call the customers since they have phone numbers attached to their reservations. It would be great to know if our computers are fine and instead the cloud based system is compromised. Let us know what information you need and we will submit it here. Thanks.
