My name is Ashley. (Did my Username give any indication of that?) I am 360-something days away from being 30 years old. My father has a professional title of "Software Engineer" and passed this onto my brother who wears the title "Civil Engineer" but I am somehow just a lowly mechanic. I used the Commodore 64 as a youngling but my real introduction to computers on a scale I can remember was with the Macintosh 128K. My skill with computer geeking ranges somewhere between amateur and slightly-less amateur. I'm not so new that I can't perform regular maintenance on my own computers, I've torn some apart and gotten most back together, and I can diagnose and repair most common problems.
That being said, I did send to the dark side my fair share of electronics as a tiny human… turns out the household lunch staple of PP&J's had better places to be than inside the VCR's… and I am still a new kid on the block and could use the networking when it comes to my computer upgrade ideas and repairs and such. I'm sure my dad & brother could use a break from my silly questions.
