Candy Crush shortcut just appeared on my desktop without my doing so, am I infected?

Look in your list of installed programs...uninstall Candy Crush if there.

 

If you don't see Candy Crush then post back for further suggested fixes.

I know my complaint sounds a bit asinine, and yes I uninstalled Candy Crush and then put the shortcut into the trash, but solely use this computer for Netflix, nobody else has access to this computer and it never goes to another website, and nothing has been downloaded apart from automatic updates since I bought it.

 

Where did Candy Crush come from?

Did you recently install Windows 10 or update Windows 10? That's where I see it the most. Your neighbor Microsoft is installing it.
