Whenever I try to click on a media player clip in firefox I get the error "cannot create directshow player." I noticed this because I wanted to preview a sound clip on amazon.com, but wasn't able to. is there a way to fix it?

The general consensus for a solution seems to be a complete removal and reinstallation of WMP.

Just out of curiosity, what happens when you use IE?
