Hello  I have an old Dell Inspiron 518 desktop with a 2 duo core processor 8 gigs of ram and windows 10. I use if for browsing the web mainly Youtube and streaming movies

It started freezing more frequently and now every time I boot up after about 15 to 20 min it freezes and I cannot do anything also here and there the display will go out as well and I will have no display.

I ran the utility partition in my bios and did the extended test specifically for system lockups and "freezes" and it checked everything, motherboard, cpu, fans, hard drives, memory etc. it all passed.

I also reseated  all my RAM  took out the graphics card and it still freezes.

Bought a new PSU  and the problem still persists.

EDIT:

MAYBE IF I CHECKED THE TEMPS OF MY SYSTEM COMPONENTS IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME SOME TIME AND TROUBLE. THE TEMPS of my CPU AND MOTHERBOARD ARE OFF THE CHARTS. As shown in the picture. Maybe need a new CPU and or Motherboard. I did apply new thermal paste to the CPU..........

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

I'd suggest trying some cooling solutions.

You might get some more expert info over in the Internal Hardware forums:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/
